Ultra Wave Entertainment is credited with creating L.A.’s Westside 80’s Trendy Dance scene, now known as West Coast Hip-Hop.

A group of dance promoters from the 80s, remembered for their dance parties held at Veteran’s Auditorium in Culver City, Ultra Wave gave birth to 80s and 90s dance styles and clothing trends. Ever heard of Krumping or Jerking?

During the 80s and 90s, Ultra Wave parties were the only parties where different sets (Trendies, Preppies, Gangstas, Mods, Poppers, Boogalooers, and B-Boys) could party in harmony to rap, electro beat, nu-wave, ska, funk, R&B, and club music.
Now in 2009, Ultra Wave Entertainment has resurfaced and is once again throwing parties featuring 80’s and 90’s music for Ultra Wave Alumni and introducing a whole new generation on the birth of West Coast hip-hop and L.A.’s dance scene.

Ultra Wave Family Halloween Bowling Party

Ultra Wave Entertainment hosts monthly events that are family friendly for Ultra Wave Alumni, many of whom are now parents. The events pay homage to the 80s and 90s when life was hectic and good wholesome fun wasn’t hard to come by—or expensive. Events include bowling, skating, ice-skating, snow days, movies, and more!
